JEEP JK TIPM OPTION PROGRAMING
We are able to program a lot of options inside of the factory Jeep TIPM. We can enable or disable a lot of features. Below is a list of the basics but feel free to contact us if you have a special request or don’t see the option your looking for
RUBICON E LOCKER
We can turn on or off the Rubicon Electronic locker option.
If you add E lockers and use a factory locker harness you will need to have this option enabled for them to work and for the lamp to work on the dash.
We can also turn this option off if you don’t want the locker lights flashing up on the dash
RUBICON AUTO SWAY BAR
We can tune on Auto sway bar option on or off. If you add a Rubicon style Auto sway bar to a standard JK you will need to have this option enabled for it to function.
If you have a Rubicon and have the dreaded sway bar light flashing on the dash after you removed it we can turn the option off and keep lights from driving you nuts.
RUBICON TRANSFERCASE 241OR
We can change the transfer case option from 241J to 241OR. This woule be a good option if you swap in a Rubicon 241OR transfer case. This will configure the Jeep for the 4:1 low 241OR
CRUISE CONTROL
We can add the cruise control option.
If you install a factory cruise control kit you will need this option turned on before it will operate
DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS
We can add or remove the DRL (daytime running lamp) option.
When enabled it will turn on the headlights when the Jeep is put into gear.
FOG LAMP OPTION
We can turn on the fog lamp option in the TIPM.
If you add a factory fog lamp kit you will need to have this option enabled for them to function.
HARDTOP OPTION
We can turn on the hardtop option.
If you install a hardtop on your Jeep and use the Mopar hardtop wiring kit you will need this option turned on before it will operate.
This will enable the rear wiper and rear defogger.
120VOLT INVERTER
If you install a factory inverter package you will need this option enabled for it to work.
RADIO OPTIONS
We can change the option code for radio options.
If you install a different factory option radio the TIPM will need to be programmed for some of the features to work.
We will need some info on the radio you plan on installing and the option code
STARTER OVERRUN LS SWAP
When doing a LS swap it is sometime necessary to turn off the TIP start option to keep the starter from staying engaged for too long.
We are able to go into the TIPM and turn the option off. After this is performed the starter will only run while the key is in the “start" position and will stop when the key is released.
ABS REMOVAL
We can remove the ABS option for rigs that have had the ABS unit removed. This will remove the ABS light from the dash.
This is for Jeep Jk’s that are built for Offroad only. We do not recommend removing the ABS.
You will need to provide proof that the Jeep is for offroad only.
