241J  29 spline input shaft

This 29 spline transfercase input shaft is needed when using a Jeep 241J Transfercase behind a 29 spline 4wd GM 6L90 transmission.

Most GM 6L90s have a 29 spline output shaft, but be sure to verivy before you purchase anything as some of the 2WD's had a 36 spline output shaft and cannot be used.  We have seen some 36 spline 6L90's, they mostly are used in 2wd Vans and some HD trucks.

** This inut shaft  WILL NOT work with a 241-OR RUBICON T-case or any 2012+ JK  With automatic transmission and 241J Transfercase **

With a 6L90 you need to verify what output shaft spline count you have and if your shaft is fully splined. 

Most 4wd 6L90s have 29 splines and the 2wd version have a larger 36 spline. 

CAUTION...at this time no one makes and adapter for the 36 spline shaft so steer clear of all 2wd 6L90s. 

If you have a 29 spline output shaft, you will need to verify that it has splines the entire length of the shaft. If your shaft only has splines on 1/2 of it, you will need to replace the output carrier drum with one that is fully splined.  The GM part number for this output carrier drum is 24264193. The transmission will need to be torn down to install this.

***** This is only the input shaft for the Transfer Case, You will still need a Seal for the Tcase input and an adapter to the transmission *****
