6L80-6L90 TAP-TOW/HAUL-REVERSE LAMP MODULE

Most newer transmissions are computer controled and do not have any type of external mode switch. All the data is transmitted on the CANbus to the other computers. While this may be a great solution for the OEM manufactures it creates a issue when your looking to swap it into an older vehicle.

This module is designed to add TAP shift and TOW/HAUL capabilities to your standalone 6L80-6L90 system.  It will also have a 12 volt output that will power your revrse lamps. (up to 10 amps). Its a simple wire in soultion and will support multiple different input switches (As developed). 

TAP SHIFTING:

Curently you have the option for "negative" pull to ground or "positive" pull to 12 volt type. We have two inputs, a TAP-UP and TAP-DOWN. you will need a momentary switch that will signal one or the other inputs.

If your switches ground when activated choose the "negative" type. If your switches apply 12 volts when activated choose "Positive". 

TOW/HAUL:

We have a single input for TOW/HAUL mode. By applying 12 volts to the T/H input it will activate TOW/HAUL mode. 

REVERSE LAMP OUTPUT:

Our reverse lamp output wire will provide a 12 Volt output for your reverse lights when the vehicle is in reverse.

We recomend using our module to activate a relay for the reverse lamps so the load will be carried by the relay.

• Ignition +12 Switched
• Ground
• CAN +
• CAN -
• TAP Switch UP
• TAP Switch DOWN
• TOW/HAUL
• REVERSE LAMP OUTPUT
